Company OverviewDriven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to build a company that offered something of value, K.G. Stevens began on 51st Street and Lincoln Avenue in Milwaukee in April of 1997. Within a mere three years the company grew rapidly and additional employees were hired to help meet the needs of an expanding customer base. The collective efforts of this team and the faith and loyalty of K.G. Steven’s customers prompted the company’s move from the small original facility to a 9500 square foot building in 2001 located in New Berlin.In an effort to keep pace with the evolving market and to accommodate customers, K.G. Stevens opened the doors to its own stone shop in 2004. This enterprise proved to resonate with customers, for in April of 2005 the company moved to a 40,000 square foot facility off of Victor Road in New Berlin that houses a stone shop, a solid surface shop, and a 1500 square foot showroom. Over the past few years, every segment of K.G. Stevens has continued to thrive. The stone shop has gone from making one kitchen a day to producing over 2,000 sq. ft a week. In an effort to keep pace with the growing demand, the shop now boasts some of the top of the line Loffler machinery shipped directly from Germany and has transformed it into an automated stone production line. By adding a new CNC, saw, water filtration machine and racking system, we are confident of our ability to fabricate and accommodate the influx of orders we receive in a timely manner. The ever changing solid surface landscape has also positively impacted our business. With the addition of a thermoforming machine, our solid surface shop continues to be the premier manufacturing facility in Southeastern Wisconsin. Our ability to fabricate a small vanity to a large scale commercial project is due to a dedication to excellence regardless of the size and scope of the project. To help keep our customers updated on the latest product developments, the office now features a state of the art training room. While we are dedicated to servicing our existing customer base, in 2007 we began to focus on the commercial market. This new segment has allowed us to forge key relationships with some of the areas most prominent industry leaders.
What started with only two guys has now grown to a company with more than 50 associates. And, as K.G. Stevens continues to be one the fastest developing countertop companies, its employees remain committed to providing the same quality and value that were the cornerstones of its early success. We pride ourselves on supplying our customers with exceptional service, well-known brands and outstanding manufacturing and installation on every job.
